After the films main battle with the Dark Elves the two Asgardian warriors bring him The Aether the power source that Malekith Christopher Eccleston and the Dark Elves tried to use to destroy the universe during the movie. The Collector asks them why they are giving him The Aether and they reply that it would not be smart to keep two Infinity Stones in Odins vault the Tesseract is locked up there currently. The Asgardians leave and The Collector remarks to himself One down five to go.
