http://www.docdroid.net - Eventually Northup is handed over to another plantation run by an extremely racist and abusive slave driver Edwin Epps. Northups main duties are now picking cotton which he is expected to collect 200 pounds of each day otherwise he is savagely beaten. The slave who constantly picks the most cotton is Patsey a young female slave. Despite his wifes jealousy Patsey becomes the center of Epps lust and hatred. Patsey is raped by Epps and constantly beaten by Epps and his wife.Northup reveals his identity to a Canadian laborer Bass and asks for help. One day while working in the fields Northup is called out by the local sheriff.
